FelixPrakosa
An observer of small things, a son finding his father in wood and cooling oil, and Lixie’s maker.
The
observer
Felix Prakosa is in his final year of college and works independently, accepting the jobs that arrive. What joins these lives is attention. He watches the large world and the tiny one with the same curiosity, trying to understand how each thing works.
I am a final year college student and a freelancer. I take whatever work comes my way. I like observing the world, whether it is something large or something very small, and understanding how it works.
Fragrance is one aspect of life. Sometimes it feels important. Sometimes it is like the wind, something that comes and goes. Yet it is always around us.
Wood and Freshcare oil remind me of my late father. He was a carpenter, and he wore the cooling oil every night. When I smell it, the sensation is simple and immediate. It feels as though he is beside me again.
I often wear natural oils such as orange, jasmine, or sandalwood. I apply them to my wrists and neck. On some days I prefer to wear nothing.
I go into the open air. I look around, gaze at the sky, breathe deeply, and have coffee or tea. The ritual does not ask for much. It gives the world time to become visible again.
If you can enjoy something, that is the essence of it.
A belief he keeps close: sometimes the universe does not work the way you want.

assembled by air

Felix, in music
A playlist supplied with the interview. Listen while the story moves from personal memory into the imagined worlds of Lixie.
Lixie
“I call this workshop Fragments of Imagination because every bottle contains something I imagined, something I lived through, or a story I wanted to return to.”
Curiosity became books. Books became conversations. Conversations became a house of scent.
Felix began alone, learning through books, the internet, and fragrance forums. Along the way he met distillers, perfumers, enthusiasts, and collectors. The exchanges mattered as much as the formulas. He remembers, among them, conversations with Reza Irwansyah of HoM Haute. Lixie remains a solitary workshop, but it was never built in isolation.

Angel Tears
What do an angel’s tears smell like? Cold Omani frankincense, juniper, and sacred air descend into lily of the valley, Sumatran champaca, bakul, and a humid garden after weeping. Orris, sandalwood, white cedar, and skin musk remain when something sacred touches the ground and decides to stay.

Best New Comer Brand of 2026
“The award felt like a warm embrace for a creation that was still learning to walk.”
Felix sees the recognition from Jakarta Fragrance Club as part of a wider Indonesian perfumery scene in bloom. In his words, the victory belongs to everyone, and the story has only just begun.
Private Blend begins with one person
Private Blend is Lixie’s name for its bespoke fragrance service. Each commission begins with one wearer rather than a market or collection. Felix listens closely, finds the emotional centre, and develops the fragrance with that person until it feels unmistakably theirs. These six works are a window into a practice that continues far beyond the selection shown here.
Solitude
Cool waterfall air meets the mystery of a mist veiled castle and the intimate warmth of ginger tea. It flows gently between freshness and shelter, becoming a contemplative scent that feels magical without losing its human warmth.
For Noor
A soft white floral composition lit from within. Jasmine and champaca rest over powdery iris, while sandalwood and creamy musk give the brightness a smooth, intimate foundation.
Forest Temple
Deep inside a forest temple, incense rises into open air while rose petals move through the smoke. Resins, woods, and flowers hold the tension between ritual and stillness until the composition arrives at inner peace.
You Want It Darker
Iris and leather enter first. Gasoline moves against sandalwood, followed by gunpowder, warm resin, damp earth, and the metallic suggestion of blood. The result belongs to a dark, quiet night rather than simple darkness.
The Golden Throne
In a world that grants no miracles, a person creates them through effort, suffering, and the weight of black steel. Citrus and clove strike first, metal and leather harden the centre, then benzoin gives victory its sweetness. It is made for those who refuse to bow to fate.
Oolong Milk Tea
Tea and maté steam rise into jasmine, sandalwood, and vanilla, constructing the illusion of oolong milk tea. Flores oud, tonka, and benzoin deepen the warmth until the fragrance suggests a Maillard reaction and the browned sweetness of caramelisation.
Compose the visual world
Build the image before the formula. Choose its colour, place, surface, light, and cultural language. The fragrance remains a private decision between you and Felix.
A forest shrine shaped by the grain of old wood, with woven geometry, carved wood, and layered tropical depth.
