I was born the younger of two, with eleven years between my sibling and me. Even so, much of my life was shaped in solitude. I learned about both grace and hardship on my own, and the quiet distance within my own family taught me to trust my decisions. Every risk I chose to take became another step toward understanding who I was.

As the years passed, one truth remained with me: everything that truly matters must carry feeling. Yet feeling was the one language I could never fully speak. So I learned to listen. I find beauty in every form of art, but perfume holds a special place in my heart. Each fragrance tells a story, evokes emotions, and leaves room for every person to create their own interpretation.

At first, I saw perfume as nothing more than a finishing touch, something to complete the way I looked. I never imagined I would dive any deeper into it. But over time, I found myself slowly drawn in. The more I explored, the more I realized that perfume isn’t just something you wear, it’s something you experience.

I’ve always been drawn to the atmosphere within a church: the lingering scent of incense, the warmth of old wood, and the cool embrace of marble beneath my feet. It brings me a sense of peace and comfort, allowing my thoughts to become calmer and clearer. It is also the one place where I can truly be myself, where I feel loved, accepted, and embraced without ever being afraid of making mistakes.

Lately, I’ve been exploring fresher fragrances, simply because I want to give my nose a bit of a rest, allowing it to become more sensitive to scents again while also expanding my olfactory journey. The fragrances I’ve been reaching for the most are Trussardi Uomo EDT, Guerlain Homme EDT, and Bottega Veneta Pour Homme EDT. Even though they’re fresher in character, I still can’t seem to let go of the aromatic spicy signature that always finds its way into the fragrances I wear.

Daily reflection has become a part of who I am. I look back on my actions, both the good and the bad, searching for ways to grow, to become a better version of myself, and to understand what steps I should take next.

Good taste is often mistaken for luxury or trends, when in truth it is neither. It is the quiet wisdom to appreciate beauty with intention, to choose with discernment, and to remain authentic in a world that constantly asks you to imitate. It cannot be built overnight. It is shaped over years, through experience, reflection, and an ever-curious mind. In the end, it is revealed in how you see yourself, how you understand the world around you, and how you carry both with grace.
