The Artisan Collection
Template in review. Every lot below is a specimen entry used to fix the structure. No product is attached and nothing here can be bought.

The
Register
Not a collection of scents. A record of distillations, each one finite, each one signed by the person who made it.
The premise
A lot is not
a product
A production house makes the same thing until it stops selling. A still does not work that way. Wood cut in one district in one month, run on one still, yields what it yields, and then that material is gone. The lot is the honest unit. When a lot is finished it stays on this page, marked exhausted, because the record of what a house has made is part of what the house is.
Every lot carries its district, its harvest window, the still it ran on, its yield in grams, and the number of bottles that yield produced.
Nothing is remade. A second lot from the same district is a separate entry with its own number and its own price.
The person who cut, distilled or carried it is named, and the conversation with them is published alongside.

Name to follow
North Kalimantan
copper, capacity
grams of oil
Distilled by a named maker, whose conversation runs as an issue of Interviews. That issue number lives here and on the plate that ships with the bottle.
Name to follow
district, not island
A lot may be small. A lot of two formats and forty bottles is a truer object than a line extension.
The exhausted state
none remaining
A finished lot is never delisted. This is what the page will look like when the material is gone, and it is the most important state on the page, because it is the only proof that the scarcity was real.
What ships with it
The plate
Every bottle leaves with a numbered plate. It is the reason the price is what it is, and it is the one thing a house buying through a chain cannot assemble.

Everything
made so far
Open and exhausted together, oldest at the foot. This table is the archive, and it is meant to grow heavier than the shelf above it.

| 001 | Malinau, North Kalimantan | To be set | To be weighed | To be counted | Open |
| 002 | To be named | To be set | To be weighed | To be counted | Open |

Alongside, not instead
The house
keeps both
The fifty millilitre line does not change. It is composed, repeatable, and meant to be worn without ceremony. The Register is the opposite kind of object, sold by the gram, finite by nature, and priced by what the material actually was rather than by what the bottle looks like. A house is allowed to do both, so long as it never pretends one is the other.
