Description
This is the one I return to without thinking. The piece I wear for myself. Among everything I’ve created, this kind of composition remains my personal favorite.
At its core, this fragrance is built on a personal axis. Vanilla has always been my center. Not the easy sweetness, but the deep, almost sacred warmth of Vanilla Planifolia Abs. Around it, I continue my ongoing exploration of oud, here expressed through Pasaman Oud Oil. Smoky, sweet, and profoundly resinous, it moves like slow-burning wood dissolving into balsamic depth. There is weight, but no aggression. It breathes.
Royal Leather enters not as ornament, but as elevation. A statement of haute materiality. Polished, composed, and deliberate. It gives structure to the composition, lifting it from something intimate into something refined without losing its soul.
The architecture leans into resins and woods. Benzoin, labdanum, and balsams create a molten core. Oakwood CO₂ and guaiac wood extend the smoky dimension, while sandalwood and patchouli ground it with a composed depth. There is sweetness, but it is controlled. A slow, enveloping warmth rather than a loud gesture.
This is my DNA. A balance between comfort and depth. Between familiarity and constant exploration. Something I can wear endlessly, yet never fully exhaust.
If there is a musical parallel, it is Coltrane. Not the obvious melody, but the repetition that evolves. A theme that returns again and again, each time with new nuance. Spiritual, searching, yet grounded in discipline.
Just something true.
Longevity & Wear
Every HoM Haute bottle is an extrait de parfum. That tells you the concentration, not how it will behave on you. How long a composition lasts and how far it carries depends on the materials in it, on your skin chemistry, and on the nose that meets it. Some of our bottles sit close and quiet for hours; others announce themselves and then settle. Apply lightly, one or two touches at the pulse points, and let the skin decide.
Our fragrances are sold unmatured. What you receive is a composition at the beginning of its life. Over the first weeks and months the sharper edges settle, the heart becomes rounder, and the base grows deeper and more unified. Keep the bottle closed, away from light and heat, and revisit it over time. The bottle you own at six months is not the bottle you opened.
Philosophy
Every HoM Haute fragrance is produced in small batches. Minor variations between batches may occur due to the use of natural materials, maturation, and ongoing refinement of the composition. Rather than pursuing absolute uniformity, we embrace fragrance as a living creation that continues to evolve. Time, storage conditions, and wear will shape each bottle into a slightly different experience. We encourage you to age and observe your fragrance as part of its journey.

Safety
Some HoM Haute creations intentionally explore materials, concentrations, and historical perfumery practices beyond contemporary commercial standards. Certain fragrances may contain ingredients restricted, discontinued, or used at levels exceeding current IFRA recommendations. Individuals with sensitive skin, allergies, or known fragrance sensitivities should exercise caution. We recommend testing on a small area of skin, such as the palm or inner forearm, before regular use.
